Hair straightners?

Heya,

My hair is quite thick and has a natural wave and i struggle to find a pair of straightners that keep it straight when i'm outside, but when i'm inside thats not a problem.

I'm looking at buying some new hair straightners and i don't want to pay the hunder odd pound for GHD's. Does anyone no any good straightners that keep hair straight all day inside AND outside?Hair straightners?
bag a bargain on ebay with ghd's or t3,s both excellent straighteners...Hair straightners?
If they are keeping your hair straight indoors it might not be new straightners that you need. It could be that the damper air outside is causing your hair to go back to curly/frizzy. There are a number of products that you can to stop that from happening. The bodyshop do one and I think pantene have recently bought one out. Other than that you could try using heat activated styling products which add extra hold to your hair, a good one is tresemme iron style and hold.

Its worth giving them a go - they are certainly cheaper than new straightners and have worked for me.
its not the straightners that are making it wavy outside its the weather!

try some products for straightning and a good hairspay to keep your hair free from humidty!

any straigtners are good, ive got a pair of ghds and to be honest i prefere to use my cheep ones!
lee stafford poker straight flat iron protection shine mist....... this stuff works wonders on wavy hair my daughter used to spend hours straightening her hair and as soon as she went outside it was wavy again... a hairdresser recommended this to her.

Now we all use it.
I think it's t how you do it. Why don't you try to blow dry your hair first using a blower and it'll be so easy for you to straighten it. I think if you want a good straightners you should know that they are expensive.
I know what you mean, i have very very very think, wavy and frizzy hair. Try using either a Chi straightener ( look up Farouk Chi on the internet), Remington Wet2Straight, or maybe Ozhead.

Another thing would to go to a few salons and inquire about hair straighteners there.
you can get ghds for under 拢100 now-a-days. Have you tried http://www.salonlines.co.uk? they have straighteners for 拢94.95 plus free gifts.
remmington do good straighteners

although i got a pair of ghds on ebay for 60quid
if your not willing to pay money for a good straightener then your kinda screwed. the other thing you can do, is get your hair chemically straightened. in australia it costs around $220 and it lasts for about 8-10 months. It is so handy.
you hair goes frizzy when you go outside because straighteners dry your hair out and when you go out moisture hits it and makes it go frizzy. So try using a good straightening spray first rather than buying a pair of straighteners, it really helps.
I find hairtools straighteners are almost as good and a lot cheaper. Just make sure that whatever you buy heat up to 230 degrees.

I find a hat is easier than fighting with wavy hair in this weather.
ghd are the only one that will sort your hair out, you can pick them up alot cheaper on ebay though!plus xmas is coming drop lots of hints to everyone lol
i've posted a link to a site that is compararibl to GHD straighteners. These are SCP, they use the same thermodynamic and ceramic plate technollogy . You can get them from 拢36 upwards.
Have you tried looking for GHDs on ebay? I get mine from there for about 拢50
GHD'S Realy are worth what you are paying for them .. but try ebay ! .. they realli are excellent
