I have 2 of them. A regular one and a wet to dry one.
They'll run you about $200, but its well worth it. They straighten your hair fast and it stays straight all day.
I personally like CHI and Sedu. I own a Sedu and it works great. it is a tourmaline ceramic straightener. The tourmaline is supposed to give you faster results but that really depends on the temperature setting and the type of hair you have (all Sedu models have a variable temp setting).
I also like the CHI straightener. For less than $85 you can get a great professional ceramic flat iron.
Ceramics are the best kinds to go for. Also, the heating units of the more expensive models are built to last and perform better typically.
People often worry about heat damage. This is usually caused by people over-using the flat iron. They make a pass and don't get perfect results so they do it again and that excess heat causes the damage. Always work in sections and if you have to re-work a section, allow it to cool for a couple of minutes before styling it again. The professional use models like CHI and Sedu produce consistent high heat which normally means they work in a single pass (saving time and heat damage).
thoses ceramic ones or what ever they are
duh...the ciramick kinds loll ask your hair dresser
in these days style doesn't like just strait.. dont be afraid to buy a curlr and add a twist to the ends of you hair.. have fun with it!!
ceramic chi! hands down!
any ceramic one is good. as long as its over $30.
I have figured out that ones under $30 suck! i have like a $50 ceramic one and it is good and doesnt damage my hair as much as the one that you have right now does. (my friend has it)
here is the best one ever!

The ones with a lot of ions and good ceramic. Thin ones are really nice. Don't get one that has ';proffesional Heat'; these kill your hair, unless you are planning to only straighten your hair once a month at the most. i have a 1 inch, red tool science.
