i think that emo/scene hair is sweet

so stuff you to the haters!!

personally i dont have that kind of hair but anyway

..try straightening the top and put all the long hair into a low side pony tail (make sure it isnt high)

or try making the shortest bits on the top of your hair stick up a little bit use hairspray and straighten the rest

dye your hair black with random pink or blue tips

hope i helped

:)Emo/Scene hair styling tips?
unfortunately that is not a very versatile hair cut. i had mine like that for quite a while and just about the only thing you can do besides what is in the pic is to pull it back in various ways. you could curl it and do a messy bun, you could tease the top and put i t in a ponytail clipping back the front....thats about all i can think of though.
just tease it i do that

it works =)

and i have WAYYY to much hair xD

it's really think and yeah lol

but i agree with the ppl black with red highlights that would

be soooooo cool =D
leave it how it is don't go overboard. btw... emos all need to mature and grow up, and having sex doesn't define growing up. not that im accusing u, but u get the idea.
dye it black and dye the tips red or something.

i think it would look so cool like that. btw... i %26lt;3 your hair style. :)
please dont do emo/scene hair it really doesn't look very cool.
Try pigtails or some form of ponytails.

But leave all the bangs out of it!
dye it black with red highlights
i don't really know but teasing helps with emo hair.
go to a hair stylist
make it bigger :) haa
next time, make sure you cut yourself good

I have long dark wavy hair, any hair styles tips or advise?

WELL I SAY U CUT UR HAIR UP TO UR SHOULDERS

TAT WIL BE A CHANGE AND FROM THERE U CAN DO ANYTHNG
i have long wavy hair too and i know exactly how you feel!what i do is curl mine.i have hot rollers (you can get from wal mart or just about anywhere) and after i wash it i put mousse or gel in it while its wet and after it AIR dries i take a strand put a little mousse on it and i use freeze it hair spray and i spray the strand and put it in a roller and it makes your hair very curly and bouncy and not the flat boring wavy or straight look

Male hair styling tips please, what shall i do?

edit: i dont wanna get it exactly like that pic , just the messy kind of look in general.Male hair styling tips please, what shall i do?
just say you want to grow it long but want it too keep some shape to it simple as that. just grow it and keep the fringe shortish until it starts getting quite long after 6months or so. get it cut 2-3 times ovr 6 months each time say you wanna grow it and eventually you will start to see what is natural for your head and can modify what you ask for at barberrs. They need direction but intially just say wanna grow longer. It will take a few months to get the length in back and sides to match top

Some hair styling tips please?

Hey guys - I'm going to uni this year and so will now have to learn how to style my hair myself so if anyone could give me some help that would be great.

well I need some tips on how to curl my hair with my ghd's - also I have quite thick hair so what products to use to hold it in place.

Oh please don't tell me to talk to a hairdresser, I have a personal stylist and quite honestly he does it all so quickly and easily that he's unable to sort of slow down the process for me lol.

Well thanks for any help :)Some hair styling tips please?
This is a good video to help you with curling your hair.

To help with the thickness of your hair, try Paul Mitchell's Gloss Drops.

To help keep your style you can use Super Clean Spray.

I hope this helps. You can email me if you have any other questions. Some hair styling tips please?

Maybe you should have tried living normally and being independent.

By the sounds of things you're not going to get very far in life if you can't even do your own hair at your age...

    Easy hair styling tips?

i have naturally straight hair. In the morning, i have about 20 minutes to do my hair. and i straighten out the little kinks in the morning with my straight iron. I just dont have time to curl my hair --- it has so many layers, and its to my mid shoulderblades! If you have any really really easy tips for someone who wants to be more outgoing with her hair, let me know! (btw -- i take a shower at night, so if you have any tips on like, wet hair that you sleep in, that'd be great too! i've tried braiding it but my hair just turns into a big poofy mess.) thanks so much :) --%26lt;3--Easy hair styling tips?

use bed head and style it every which way :)
I curl my hair at night and then pin each curl up and sleep on it
you could loosly braid your hair so it would look natural when you wake up in the morning. It works because I have naturally straight hair and its so frustrating in the morning because I never have time to curl my hair either, and I dont want to just straighten my hair every single day. Sometimes I put my hair in a big messy bun which takes about 2 minutes or less.

    Ok will either way...

Heres a link to a youtube video of a girl teasing her hair.

    that's called scene hair

you can find out how to tease it on youtube. just backcomb the roots of your hair to make it look bigger and put hairspray in it. i have scene hair too. you could also tie your hair to one side. it looks really cool with the short choppy layers.
go to a proper hair stylist. he/she will sort you out. good luck

What's the best hair curling iron [maybe $40 at the most] to buy? Where? And what kind of products would work best with it? I know it's not safe to curl your hair with all that heat often, so what are some hair styling tips and suggestions?

My sister tried to teach me how to do hair when I was little, but I didn't have much patience so it didn't work out so well. Now I want to learn but she doesn't have much time to teach me with her having her own family and all. What are some things every girl should know about doing hair?

I had my hair permanently straightened in July 2008 and now I'm tired of straight hair and I just wanna know how to do my hair in various ways before I go back to school.

Any tips on ways I can style my hair [both simple and .. not so simple ways], how to keep it feeling soft and as healthy as possible from all that heat from curling irons, etc, and what products I can use for not much money are appreciated!

If you want you can e-mail me! I'd love to learn how to do my hair before school starts (Sept 8). I have a lot of questions.Any hair styling tips for a beginner?

i would personally try spicing up it bcuz its much easier in my opinion, plus you can add poofs and braids to spice it up, just keep expeiermenting wit fun things until you figure out what you like, also try scrunching your hair after you shower and such

try looking on youtube for hair help, videos are very helpful

and as for curling irons go, go to a local salon or beauty supply store, the clerks can really help by seeing what kind of hair you have and knowing what your looking for

Ok, before anyone says ewww or says something bad about scene, ppl need to understand that “scene” is the style that “I” look good and makes me feel confident. I have the hair cut and I know how to style my hair, My hair looks a lot like Brittany Kramers hair. But, I Always wanted that texture she has her hair. It looks kind of tussled and messy but cute and put together. Here is a couple few pics of Her and one of Brookelle Bones. I just really want to know how they get that messyish look. I know there is teasing and hairspray but I don’t think that’s what giving them that textured messy look.

    I love these hairstyles :D

usually its a lot to do with the teasing and hairspray which is probably wat they do for the most part, but i also know tht there are gels tht you can put in your hair like at the top and mess it around to give the messy look and the bottom part is usually extensions or extremely straightened.Scene hair styling tips please :)?
i don't know who these people are but whatever.

the reason they're hair looks all messed on top and sleek on the bottom is because they have a really edgy, texturized, choppy, SHORT, hair cut... than they are wearing extentions.. which is giving them the sleekness on the bottom.

these styles are really unattractive to me, it's a phase that you will grow out of.

    get something more classy.

and i bet you 100 bucks they cut their own hair because it looks really uneven and messy. theres no way a stylist did that, unless they were blind folded.

    Scene hair styling tips?

I have the ';scene hair'; look, its really big at the top, and i have layers,

but i do my hair differently, then most people with hair like mine probably do, instead of teasing, i take a shower, put in some moose, pin up the layers while my hairs wet, let my hair dry, straighten everything, and then I'm all done.

I don't use hairspray or tease it, and i don't want to start, but what else an i do to increase the volume, and avoid having a rats nest on my head? ;]Scene hair styling tips?

My daughter who until 2 days ago had long blonde hair about to her waste. she got tired of it and cut it off without relizing that it wouldnt grow back in a day...she's very upset...any styling tips.right now its about 2 inches above her chinHair styling Tips Please!?
if she wants her long hair back the best thing would be to get extensions.Hair styling Tips Please!?
i think that one thing that you and your daughter can talk about is about getting extensions that are not long at all but like as long as she wants to do it. and with the extensions she can do many more things with the longer hair and let her natural hair grow at the same time. the thing is that you can do a lot to when your hair is that short. another idea is that she can curl her hair in, but that will make her hair a little shorter than what it is because you are curling it in. another thing that she can do is like pull it back like at the top and use bobby pins.

since i have short hair but its not as short as hers, she can also pull off wearing like headbands a lot more or like really pretty hair clips and all that while having the hair down and it wouldn't be boring at the same time. so yeah. sorry about it being so long.
Bangs is great with any hairstyle; whether you hair is layered, non-layered, long, short or medium length, bangs give you a soft new look. Modern hairstyles usually keep their bangs side-swept.
omg, ive done that before too, and I regret it soooo much. I could definetly answer this question if you answer these 2 questions.

all i do is straighten my hair so any ideas?Hair Styling tips please!?
Get layers, I think it will help with the ';poof';, or like this serum stuff. It's called... Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum. I have to use it because my hair does the same thing as yours. And for when you straighten your hair use this spary stuff. It's called... Design Line - Get It Pressed. It keeps hair straightened longer, and frizz free. Also it protects aginst split ends so you wont get them as easily.

    a little past the shoulders.

i have sidebangs and i would like to keep them.

but im thinking about layers too.

any other ideas for styles?Hair styling tips?
Try to get it tapered in the front to frame your face. that way when you use your straightener, you can flip it in slightly to frame your face and add some femininity to it. Also, when you get your sidebangs cut, make sure they don't cut them too short. That just happened to me and they look horrible!! But anyway. You could get long or short layers. long layers start farther down in your hair. Short layers start closer to your roots and are more choppy. Ask your stylist before you get your hair cut and make sure she knows EXACTLY what you want before she picks up the scissors.Hair styling tips?
cut it in layers or curl the ends or make it crinkly all all over
well you could layer it you could get it cut short liked bobed its really nice if you like short hair i have brown hair too but wayy past the shouldeers so yeah hhard to mannage on what hairstyles you want

i pull back only the top half of my hair and clip it up. i'll pull it back like im making a pontail with just the top half, then ill twist it once or twice and then clip it up so it fans out at the top. then, i slip on a simple, thin headband. plus, you'll still have the bottom half of your hair to frame some of your face.Hair styling tips ?
    1. messy pigtail braids are very popular now. it will work for short hair.

    2. messy updos are also very popular.

    http://hairstyleschat.com/how-to-style-a-loose-curls-updo.html

    3. take a good size piece of your hair at the top, put it into a ponytail making a half up half down ponytail, then curl your hair.

    4. put your hair in a braid. sleep with your hair like that. in the morning take out the braid and your hair will look natural and be pretty and wavy/curly

I need hair styles for my hair. i have hilites and my hair looks EXACTLY liike my avatar. anyone have any suggestions?Hair Styling tips?
i think you need more volume. my hair is naturally flat too and this is what i do to get more volume:

    1. get a layered haircut

    2. use pantene pro-v volumizing shampoo%26amp;conditioner

    3. if i need to blowdry, i look down and let my hair fall over my face and blow dry that way. it gives your hair more volume

    4. use volumizing spray/ mousse if youre going out. i usually dont, but if im going to the movies or something thats what i useHair Styling tips?
you should get layers and recolor your hair...make your highlights seem more natural.
hmmmmm....... what u need is more volume because when ur hair is flat ur hair will look really oily sometimes... i havent seen ur hair so i dun have an exact answer but if ur hair is oily u can use baby powder rub it in ur hair and then comb it through ur hair so it soakes up most of the oil in ur hair..

for mosturizing u can u doves conditioner with the shampoo..that willl smell good and look better !!! it will shine

with a hair do u can go for a bun and a classical look u can put a chopstick in !! thats is easy and fast!!!
i agree with above layers and highlites
wat i would do is i would get layers and if u have a little brother then he probley pulls ur hair like my bro does so i would get layers and if ur bro pulls ur hair pull his and he wont do it anymore lol ha ha ha ha ha lol

    - Half up with a clip or hair tie. You can also braid the upper section.

    - Side parted hair with the front section clipped to the side. I like to use little jaw clips, but bobby pins will work if your hair isn't too thick.

    - Flipped through pony tail. Put your hair in a loose pony tail. Reach up under the pony tail and separate the hair there into two sections. Use your other hand to twist the tail and then pull it through from bottom.

    - French ponytail. Put the top section of your hair (above ears) into a ponytail. Next, put the middle into a pony. Then put the bottom into a pony. This looks less kiddy if you do it looser with pretty clips.

    - Some more simple styles are side braids/ponytails, buns, and french braids- http://www.wikihow.com/French-Braid

I hope this helps! :)Hair styling tips please!!?
There's all kinds of things you can do! Don't be afraid to experiment a little. I would look in magazines that you like, and at celebrities whose style you admire who have a similar hair length and thickness to yourself. Clip out the pictures, or just keep them in mind or in a folder on your computer... NOW all you need is a little time and patience! A cheap accessories store, like Claire's or Ardene, can be a treasure house of really inexpensive, fun hair tools. Barettes, clips, headbands, scarves, pins... there's a huge list. With a little length like what you have, you can easily do all kinds of updos and fun things. Look on youtube for ideas.. typing ';hairstyles'; into the search engine there can come up with some really cute instructional videos! Don't be afraid to experiment a little. The worse thing? You'll have to brush it out, or rinse out some product, and start over. No big deal! Have fun!
Shoulder-length hair is totally versatile. I love the messy ponytail (I think it's cuter at your length than when it's long). Clip the layers back with a cute kid's clip.

i really don't think there is such thing as a 'too old' hair style.

i suggest just using a straightener and straightening it downwards so it makes the hair flatter. since when your layers are really short it tends to give a lot more volume. if you straighten it so its flatter it blends into the rest of the hair.

you can also use a headband and if you have bangs separate the bangs and then put the headband like behind your bangs so the bangs are still out. this hairstyle would look good since it will make your hair look voluminous behind the headband thanks to the short layers in your hair.

i have a perm and i like to pull it back into that half up do and it looks cute just ise some gel or wax to hold strays in place and it looks casual but you can dress it up by adding fancy hair ties and stuff to make it elegant and sophisticatedCurly hair styling tips?
For years I hated my not curly, but not straight, wavy hair. But in the last few years I have found a curl creme that doesn't make my hair crunchy and I have grown it out but kept the layers shorter so when I use the curl creme and a diffuser I get a lot of curl or I can just blow it out w/ softer waves. The curl creme is the Sexy Hair line, called Sexy Curly Hair. I think they key is to embrace your hair, if it wasn't meant for you, you would have different hair!
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.Try this tutorial out so you can see what I''m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi_xc3fsr/a>

  • Hair Styling Tips?

    Okay.

I have brown hair thats semi-thick.

My hair is kind of long.

    6 inchs past my shoulders.

And I have side swept bangs.

And I always straighten my hair.

And I always have to straighten my hair beacuse its frizzy and everywhere, its a mix of straight and wavy.

Sometimes I throw it in a ponytail.

Anyone have any styling tips?Hair Styling Tips?
I know it's already wavy, but you should try curling it, it looks super cute and not as frizzy.Hair Styling Tips?
maybe try scrunching your hair and then like taking a curling iron afterwards to add additional curls to your nonwavy sections of your hair.

    Hope this helpss.

You can straighten the bangs put leave the rest wavy. And to make the rest less frizzy, just use a curling serum to make the curls more defined and shiny.

    Hair styling tips and hints?

My hair is extremely flat. I have blow dried it and done everything i can to try and make it have some ';fluffiness'; to it. I don't want my hair to stand up in all directions but I want it to not be so flat.

Also, does anyone know of something I could put in my hair to keep it curled. Cuz I love to curl my hair but the curl never stays in for long and I feel like its a waste of time.

Does anybody have a brand that can give my hair more volume and also something that will help the curl stay in my hair?

It doesn't have to be the same thing but 2 different things.

just tell them to razor your hair to give it a kinda shaggy effect. btw you are hot, haha but anywaysss. any normal shampoo or conditioner will work, you make want to get an anti-frizz serum/hair product so you hair won't look all like frizzy and poofy :D you may also want to blow your hair dry...but that is if you are willing to take the time to :)

oh and you may want to get a hair straightner, but that is if you want to go fulll out on yer hair :}Hair styling tips for males with medium hair please (pics included)?

you will probably need some type of texturing pomade type thing. you just are going to have to work with it and practice. the first time you try it, do it at night before you take a shower, or some time when you wont be seen. just try and work it through your hair. dont use too much though!

    http://www.walgreens.com/beauty/search/s/a>

i think all of those above are possibilities! i hope i helped!
Take the picture to a beauty shop. Looks like you need to straighten the ends.
Just bring that picture to your stylist and tell her you want it like that. It looks like its done with a razor, or point-cutting... its pretty easy but you will need to style it in the mornings to get it looking its best. Blowdry it, using your fingers to push the hair in the direction you want it to go and make sure you use an anti-frizz product to protect your hair from the heat of the blowdryer and to give you smoother hair. Also a product like a wax or paste [just a pea sized amount and really rub it into your fingers, and if you need more you can use a little more] will be good to seperate peices and make a more texturized look. Flat ironing it is not neccessary but wont hurt it, just to keep it straight if your hair has a wave in it.

    I hope this helped.

Hair styling tips for boring hair?

    My Hair:

    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2lnuci%26amp;s=4

I really hate my hair because URGHHH it's so frustrating I don't know what to do with it! it's not frizzy or uncontrollable but I hate it just by itself.

Is it just me or does my hair make my face look kinda too big? Idk.

I really want to change the style of it and put it in Selena Gomez waves cause I know how to do it but I'm not sure it it will look good. I would like to try scrunching but I'm not sure about that either.

    would it look good?

help?Hair styling tips for boring hair?
I think your hair would look good scrunched or curled. I also agree with one of the previous answers, use volume products! Sometimes I pin my hair back which looks really cute and might work for you too. Your face isn't big, the picture was taken up close so it's going to look bigger. Hair styling tips for boring hair?
Try (while your hair is wet) pulling your hair back like if you were making it into a ponytail. Pull it up, similar to if you were making it a high ponytail. Twist your hair and keep twisting until it twists around itself. Pin it there with bobbypins (I usually just use a single hairband, it holds fine), and let it dry overnight. It'll give it a really pretty wave.
part your hair a different way,

part it like an inch from your middle hair line,

it makes a huge difference :)

    goodluck!

*oh and if you do try, sometimes it takes a while until you're hair is used to your new parted hairline.

Hair styling tips for curly hair?

I have really curly brown hair, and I've run out of ideas for styling it. I used to straighten it, or hide it in a ponytail, but that gets boring after years and years of doing it. Here is a picture on a ';good day';: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=30bgwvk%26amp;/a> That was taken about a year ago. But my hair is pretty much the same. I've grown it out a little, so it's about 3 inches longer. I also used a chemical relaxer shortly after that photo was taken, but the effects of that have mostly worn off by now. I'd like to keep it long... just looking for new ideas.Hair styling tips for curly hair?
we have the same hair to a tee!!! did the chemical relaxer last long or ruin your curls at all? Anyways, if I want to change it up from the boring old ponytail, I use a product (never gel or hairspray..totally weighs down the hair. yuk!) that enhances natural curls, and put it up in a ';messy'; ponytail. try that! And definately let me know how that chemical treatment worked for you.Hair styling tips for curly hair?
to get hydrated curls, use Pantene Hydrating Curls shampoo and conditioner. when you get out of the shower, comb your hair and put in a leave in conditioner like the ones from Frizz Ease. next, mix a touch of Sunsilk Hydra-TLC and a touch of Sunsilk De-Frizz cream and apply it to your hair. lastly, smooth in 2-3 egg sized dollops of Tresemme Flawless Curls mousse and your done:)
use a flat iron spray first, then a hot flat iron.
Try gel, all you do is scrunch it after your shower! Good Luck

Cut it short or keep it spiked. If you do it any other way it will not look right. maybe if it was black you could slick it back.

maybe start combing it more into your face?

Hair styling tips (not for a cut) for medium-long length brownish/black hair?

I usually just straighten or scrunch my hair but i really would like some cute styles, i have tons of bobby pins and clips so thats not a problem. My hair is pretty fine in texture, but odly i have a lot of it. any ideas would be great! I'm having friends over tonight and i would really like something unique thats pretty and that doesnt involve too much skill .Hair styling tips (not for a cut) for medium-long length brownish/black hair?
Play! Its best to set your hair in rollers first, or big barrel curls, and then start grabbin handfuls and pin like mad. I am a stylist, and these messy updos always look the best! You can NOT mess them up, and skill level is zero. Also, try playin around with colors too. That will make any doo look completly different!Hair styling tips (not for a cut) for medium-long length brownish/black hair?
PIN CURLS....IF you have bobby pins..the ones with the clamps you need to twist the hair into a cirlce and then put them on there they have to be a ttached to your head o and dont forget to part your hair. You may want to curl your hair first if you need any more info just im me message me and ill give you all info needed
well but some bendy rollers you can get them for æ‹¢2.00 or $5.00 - these-http://www.ladyjayne.co.nz/img/productim/a>

when you get out of the bath dry your wet hair with a towel so its still damp get a large clump of hair and roll it tightly around the roller do it all the way round leve them in overnight and take them out in the morning (do not brush) and if you wrap thin peices of hair around it will go too curly http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbumBig.jsp?Pa/a>
I put my hair up in a ponytail and that is it. I also got my hair highlighted in an auburn color.
hey i would just tell you to curl it all!! take small to medium sections of hair and curl it! it will look great and it is super easy!!!

    Hair Styling Tips for Guys?

I am used to just having my hair short %26amp; not fixed at all, but it's been getting a little long; so I thought I'd try something new. Is there anything special that I would have to do to style my hair like this guy's? (i.e., hair-drying, heat %26amp; straightening, razor cut, etc.?) What exactly would I need to do? i agree with just playing with it when you get out of the shower... idk if it will work, but what can look good sometimes is getting out of the shower, shaking your head so your hair is messed up, then flatten the puffs that r too big, then put up the front by rubbing ur hand thru it a couple times... could work

Hair Styling Tips For Men?-Others girls help please?

Ok, well a friend of mine (a boy), asked me with help in styling his hair, because he's tried a few times, but it seems that he never gets the hair he wants, and he's just wondering why (Yes, I'm asking the question for him because he's illiterate when it comes to hair).

Any suggestions on the best conditions to set men's hair? And what 'hand techniques' (or thats what he calls them) create various styles?

So far, he says after he has a shower, he just uses a towel and randomly moves his hands until something decent appears.....which is both the most hilarious and most pathetic (in a sympathetic way) way a guy could style their hair.Hair Styling Tips For Men?-Others girls help please?
Actually its not bad what hes doing but try putting on some wax or gel once you've towel dried your hair, then using your fingertips use circular motions(like your massaging your head) move your hair around. With today's fashions the messier the better.

    Hair styling tips? O.o?

well i'm cosplaying as a gothic lolita (yay :D)

anyway I was thinking about making my hair into those sausagey curls but at the same time, i want it to look natural. (so sorta like a sausagey wave-ish hair) yes im confusing D:

anyway anyone out there knows the best way to do that? I dont have a curling iron cause me and hot plates/ things dont get along that well and im not exactly sure how to use one anyway and im too scared that the hair styleing places are either too expensive or they might burn my hair or scalp (happend to me once already so...)

anyone out there wanna help?Hair styling tips? O.o?
First off, gothic lolita isn't cosplay. Suggesting it is often looked down upon.

Second, big sausage curls are pretty easy. Since you don't have a curling iron, you might not get the big kind, but you can go for wavyish curls by doing rag curls. Just take strips of an old t-shirt and and roll your hair into it while it's still damp. Tie the ends together and let it dry overnight. When you take them out, you'll get a nice fluffy balance between firzzy and wavy that's perfect for lolita.Hair styling tips? O.o?
Pretty much with what Okage said.

I am blonde. Hair just goes to top of eyes %26amp; Just tucks behind ears. I have a double-crown.

Please tell me how to get this style?

What sort of cut do i ask for (';short on the sides, long on top'; etc).

How do i style it? blow dry? towel dry? gel? wax? spray?

Also, will it suit an oval faced younger man (me)?Hair styling tips for a guy?
Almost any style will suit an oval faced young man:

    ';Oval: The oval face is the ideal shape. It is designated as the ';egg'; shape. It is wider at the forehead and tapers to a well rounded chin. This type of face looks equally becoming with hair worn low or high on the head; and likewise, either a center or side part or no part at all is becoming. depending somewhat on other facial characteristics.';

L.S. Trusty, ';The Art and Science of Barbering'; 8th ed, pg 129.

    To style it:

1)Blow dry or towel/air dry, till almost dry. A heat diffuser placed on a dryer works well to keep the wave in the hair. I am assuming you also have wavy hair as in the photo.

    2)Comb/brush into place.

    3)Let air dry fully.

4)Rough up hair with a towel or hand.

5)Comb/brush/push/scrunch into place, attempting to direct the waves as desired.

6)A few very quick pump spray half spritzes of a mega hold hair spray on the top hair up near the face. (Pump spray not aerosol. Aerosol is too hard to control if only a very light spray is desired.)

Print the photo and take to the hairdresser to help describe the desired style. Definitely do not use words alone. ';Short on the sides and long on top,'; could be interpreted as having the sides clipper cut very short, especially by a barber. I recommend going to a stylist who cuts men's hair or a barber/stylist, who you know has done a good job on guys with similar styles.

    Good Luck!

Very Curly Hair - Hair Styling Tips!!?

My girl friend has very curly hair which she doesn't like....(Something like Kangana Ranaut's real hair)

She doesn't like it and says she can't have a pleasant looking hair styles....She envies the girls with straight or little curl hair.....

I am not sure what kind of hair style she can boast so that she can look envious...Please suggest ?

She keeps her hair short and plaited as she cannot let it looseVery Curly Hair - Hair Styling Tips!!?
    1. Condition your hair, massaging your scalp to get rid of build-up and excess oil. Shampoo your hair every other day, or best; only two days in a week. (shampooing every day dries out your hair) Once a week is best if you can. If you want to wash everyday, invest in a good conditioner.

    2. Comb hair in shower while conditioner is still in. Never towel dry hair. Instead, air dry or diffuse.

    3. Apply products to soaking wet hair. Clear gels are a good choice. Do not use silicone serums that will build up on your hair.

    4. Turn your head down. Dry your hair with a blow-dryer with a diffuser attachment until your hair is completely dry.

    5. Or... You can be sure to condition your hair thoroughly in the shower, combing through it with your fingers (not a comb). When you get out of the shower, put some leave-in conditioner or curl cream in it, followed by gel (don't worry, your hair will absorb a lot and prevent frizz--it won't get crusty unless you overload on the gel). Let air dry.

    6. Also, what some people tend to do is to wash their hair and they like to put plaits in when they get out the shower and leave it to dry. If you do not have time to leave it to dry, put in the plaits and throughly dry it with a blow dryer. Do not attempt this style if you are short on time though.

    Tips

    * Diffusers have prongs to lift the hair as it is dried. If you want volume at the roots, buy a diffuser with the longest prongs you can find. These are most easily found at salons or beauty supply stores.

    * When blow-drying with a diffuser, gather large sections of hair into the cup of the diffuser and hold close to your head.

    * For extra volume at the roots, move the blow-dryer in a small circular motion while hair is cupped in the diffuser at the scalp.

    * Save money by using a straightening serum, which works wonderfully for blow-drying hair into ringlets or creating a straight style.

    * If you want to do something different (and you can stand to part with your long hair) consider this style: have long bangs, but cut the rest of your hair really short (like only an inch or two long). The really short part is too short to curl, and you can straighten your bangs if you want. If your hair is more wavy than curly, your bangs might look fine as is, though. This haircut is also really easy to wash and takes no time at all to style.

    * Only wash your hair once a day, every other day or every 2 days. That may sound gross to you, but as long as you take a shower and clean your body and put conditioner in it, it will look good and not be greasy.

    * Some good products are Pantene Pro-V for curly hair, Sun Silk for curly hair, John Frieda frizz ease for curly hair and Garnier curl and shine. Herbal Essences also has a new line for curly hair that works wonders!

    * Thick and wavy hair requires different care than straight. If you aren't willing to work with it, consider cutting it shorter. Keep in mind that shorter hair won't weigh itself down %26amp; may look ';poofy'; if cut too short.

    * Don't blow dry too closely to your head or frizz may occur!

    * Try a method that NaturallyCurly.com calls ';plopping.'; Comb your hair in the shower, use your favorite product to scrunch your hair (make sure you REALLY scrunch all the way around). Lay a t-shirt flat on a chair, with the neck hole closest to you. Pile (or plop!) your hair on top of your head and lean upside down over the t-shirt. Fold the widest part of the t-shirt (not the neck) over your head/hair and secure it in place by tieing the sleaves together. Let your hair dry, or almost dry, plopped up on your head and your curls will be amazing!!Very Curly Hair - Hair Styling Tips!!?

    Well...

I ahve naturally curly hair, and i used to wear it in a plait 24-7 as i was embarrassed by my curls (there were really boffy)

So i started straightening my hair once a week, and its great!!Get her to do that, and she wont have any more probelms!!

    Hope that helps!!=D
ask her to do permanent straightening, thats the best way.......if she doesnt want any of those curls at all......(get it done from a professional hair dresser.....and not herself),though it may cost a few more bucks......its worth it......

    1 more thing.....if her hair r 2 long.....ask her 2 cut.....some tresses....and then straighten....this will giv her hair a natural look....

    best of luk
her problem is not with the curls, its the mass. kangna ranauts hair is also the same. it is curly but she has more hair, as in mass. need 2 reduce that. so if u have less hairs n they r curly then it looks gr8.
I think that if she doesn't like curly hair she should get it permanently straightened.

Straight hair looks great and it's really easy to manage. Plus she will be happy with it.

ScEnE / EmO HaIr sTyLiNg TiPs!?

I just got my hair cut last night, and it is very scene. It is like 2 1/2 inches on top, and in the back, then layers down to my shoulders with wispy bangs, i need some help on what to do with the upper layer to get it to stick up really well! My hair is always straightened so i need something a little heavy duty...any ideas?????

i tried using got2be pomade...and it didnt really work...

any other options?!?!ScEnE / EmO HaIr sTyLiNg TiPs!?
I used to try using got2be thickening paste, but it didn't seem to work for me..

Blowdry your hair, then straighten it and whatnot, but not on the top where you want to tease it. Take a small piece of hair and hold it up, and with the other hand, take your index finger and rub it really hard and fast in a downwards motion. It will make it stand up. It takes a while to do the whole thing, but for me, it works and eliminates a mess.

Anyways, do that until you have it all sort of stucking up, and then hairspray it to death. you're going to need to buy A LOT if you want to keep it teasing it and fixing it up. Work your fingers from the bottom to the top of your hair and fluff it out. That's about it I guess.ScEnE / EmO HaIr sTyLiNg TiPs!?
When I used to need my hair to really stay, I used wax. I think it would work even better w/ short hair. Good luck!
if ur trying to make it wavy use jam. actually, you can make it any way you want if you use jam. it looks nasty at first, but it makes your hair sleek and shiny. it moisturizes your hair while styling it. its a better alternative to gel, which can dry out your hair.

maybe go with a big part on the side, some angley(sharp) razor cut ends and a highlight or two of a bright color like pink or blue or red.
It's hard to say without knowing your skin tone, face shape, and how thick or thin your hair is.
straighten it make a puff in the front or flip the ends of your hair with your straightener

Hairspray. It is your best friend.

1)spray it all over your head.

    2) spray on some stuff that keeps the straightner from burning it.

3)take the TOP layers and hold them straight up. Straighten them like that.

    4)Back comb them.

5)once all the top layers are done, straighten the bottom, longest layers. MAKE THEM PIN STRAIGHT!

6)put a cute bow in :)Long, girl scene hair styling tips?
I use this stuff called got to be glued..for the top just a little or hair spray for it to stand out...and it works awsome if you have a straightner..

you'd first put the top layers up and straighten the bottom then work with your top hair and get it to flare out a litte and then if u want to add acessories they are always cute
that is tiiight! but I dont know what products lol, I just wanted to tell you your hair is really cool :]
i guess u just want to be ';fashion'; looking scene or emo

curl the tips with a large barrel curling iron.

or use velcro rollers and blowdry your hair with them in.

once you do one of these things, use a flexible hold hairspray to hold it in place. i recommend Aussie Sprunch flexible hold hairspray. it smells awesome! and it holds your style but it doesn't make it hard to the touch. hope i helped :)

you can put rollers on the ends leave them on for like 45 minutes and it should do just fine.
just curl the tips of your hair and brush it out. it should wave.

    Any Good Hair Styling Tips?

Ok I just got my hair cut a month ago, and I'm trying to think of some different hairstyles I could use for school.

My hair is super really overly thick, shoulder length, with a layer just below my chin and one just above. I also have face framing. Its naturally somewhere between curly and wavy.

I have a really nice flat iron hairties bobbypins and stayput headbands.

I already wear my hair in

    a high ponytail

    Messy bun

    low pigtails

    and loose braids

    I also wear it down.

Any other cool ideas?Any Good Hair Styling Tips?
Those are cool but i also like to wear chopsticks in my hair and there is thousands of ways to use them like with two pairs put your hair in pigytail buns and put the chopstick in it is really awsome and different then a ponytail %26lt;yawn%26gt; um and try a low ponytail and you know those large clipy things you can twist your hair and put them in that or get two and do a pigytail verson of that i love to change up my look with my hair i hope this helps you find your look!Any Good Hair Styling Tips?
A french braid. It's a very pretty hairstyle but for some reason I don't see it much anymore. Another really cute hair do is two messy buns on the back of your next (like one right next to the other). My personal favorite is the one where you twist your hair upwards and use a hair clip to hold it. It's a very easy up-do.
well seeing the hair styles your a girl id say grow hair 1/4 down back get bangs over right eye i think its called devilish hair it looks cool to me
wear it wavy/curly...check out youtube for more styling tutorials and tips :-)
add some gel and diffuse if u have natural curls and a long face it would look rlly cute..or try straightening
    i think ur covered!!:)
    i wish i knew
    try spiking it lol

    it'll look kool
u can try the french twist..

try to do it the simple way ..

I've just given the same advise to someone who asked a similar question, I personally like the flicked-out look.

It can formal or casual and simply gives you that edgy looks.

It can be achieved with Straighteners, or you can use a big soft round brush and a blow dryer.

It looks great on most people, the more layers you have, the better.

He used a styling spray and probably just messed his hair up with his hands lol. sorry I really think it can be that simple.

Use TreSemme ultra hold anti frizz spray. It will hold your hair in the right position, get rid of frizz, and its not as greasy as those nasty gels and styling creams.

Good luck. I doubt you will have trouble with getting hair style like him if thats what you want.Need Hair styling tips for men?
Well it depends on what your hair is like. Its a pretty standard cut - with short back and sides and some textured cut overall to get that spiky/messy look. Most guys with straight hair could probably get that look with a bit of hair product - gel/wax/etc and just applying it through your hair and shaping the style upwards.

  • Hair Styling tips, Guys? Please help?

Hi. I saw this Aussie Product called Catch the Wave Mousse. I was just wondering what do you use it for? Can you use it before you blow dry your hair? Does it work well? Does it make your hair really dry and stiff, or softer? Please answer. Sorry for a lot of questions.Hair Styling tips, Guys? Please help?
it's the most amazing product i've ever gotten! i'm seriously not kidding, i always have some. its to use if you have curly or wavy and frizzy hair, and it makes your hair soft and smooth and beautiful. also if you use it with the matching scrunch spray than you can use it to scrunch your hair. you put it at the roots and throughout your hair. i use it when its damp or dry and it turns out really good. :) but if you have straight hair i sometimes put it in after i straighten it to prevent frizz from coming out when its humid. hope i helped. :)

how much is your budget? if u don't care, go to your local mall and go to Macy's. once you get the go to the make up department. (duh!) and then go to then MAC counter and explain what your looking for. but i recommend (if your eyes are blue) thick coal eyeliner, ice blue shadow and whats in this season is pale pink lipstick. (NO MORE GLOSS PPL!!!) if u cant find 1 pale enough take foundation and put some on your lips. then apply on the stick. also use pale foundation and straighten your hair.

Use pommade. It works the same as gel, but without that crisp feeling.

It's mean for use on dry hair. I highly recommend it.Hair Styling tips for men..?
You could try using a flat iron, you can get one for $17-$100+.

You can get them at stores liek walmart or target or online.

If you don't want to do that you culd try a frizz-ease serum

Thank you! :)Short hair styling tips?
ooooh! I have hair like your's! is it layred? because if it's choppy layered I can give you some tips. I know one you may be able to do without a flat iron. For this you will need bedhead manipulator and some all day hold hairspray.

This is easier if you have a flat iron but try this. wet your fingers a little and run it through your hair starting at the bottom of your neck up. Try to get all the hairs at the back of your head and neck to kind of of stand up. now take some bedhead and rub it in your palms.try fluffing the back of your head (going from neck up) till the hair looks messy and sticks out. Now take some more manipulator between your fingers and twist some of the ends of your hair to make it look like little points. Do this all over because this will create a slightly spikey but messy effect all over your hair find where all the tips of your layers and and twist little sections. When you are done finish with hairspray. Here's a pic that might help. Normally my hair is done better than this but you at least get an idea this way.

    http://www.tiefroterkub.net/random/short/a>

if your hair is longer than mine and you can use a flat iron, you can do this one

I unfortunately have natural curls. But I would suggest a good brand moose on damp hair then blow-dry while scrunching with your hands this is best done bent over while blowing your hair back towards your head.
I know this isn't what you're hoping for but it always makes me giggle a little, ever see '; Something about Mary ';. No really, have you ever tryed a body wave, a perm on fat rods, or if you don't like chemicals try those cushioned rods that you twist your hair up in when its still wet. They look like a small version of those styrofoam things that children play with in the swimming pool.
my hairstylist wife says eaither put your hair in a bun while wet and let it air dry then shake it out or buy a curling iron a big one and make loose curls with it ..
try scrunching your hair. put gel in your hand then scrunch your hair up in a ball. this will give it a wavy effect. i use it on my hair and it looks really cool

    Hair Styling Tips? Products? Straightner?

My hair is EXTREEMLY fine, but i have LOADS of it.

It curles and frizzes up SUPER easy. and not nice curls.

What can i do to keep it straight? and what straignters would you recomend? (not too expensive please)

Any tips? Products? Thankkksss. :)Hair Styling Tips? Products? Straightner?
i have the same type of hair it's very fine but there's lots of it and it doesn't curl either it's just wavy.

i have a chi straightner (the light pink one) and i love it.

i also recently bought this Paul Mitchell super skinny relaxing balm that keeps my hair from getting frizzy, even living in Florida.

what i do it put some in when i get out of the shower and brush my hair then after straightening i put a tiny bit in the hands rub it together and run my fingers through my hair. you just have to make sure not to use too much of your hair could get greasy.

hope this helps (:Hair Styling Tips? Products? Straightner?
ughh samee! i straighten my hair pretty much all the time i have really good straightener its red and its called conair infiniti steam or something its a hundred dollars it might be a little cheaper now but its totally worth it! also sometimes i braid my hair when my hair is damp and it gets like really wavy its cute sometimes a sleep on it so its not as poofy. also sometimes i straighten my hair with the hair dry and a round brush when its wet it gets like wavy and bouncy but i have to sleep on it also or its poofy
Something that I do is I take a shower, and then I put my hair up in a towel for about 15 minutes. Then I spray ';got2b crazy sleek'; spray, and then I straighten my hair with my Remington Wet 2 Straight straightener. It works really well, and it dries you hair while it straightens it. I think I got it at Longs for around 25 dollars.
I think either Chi or Paul Mitchell straighteners are the best!

If you've had short hair for some time and want a change just let if grow naturally, however make sure that you have the back and sides trimmed regularly to keep the hair of your collar line.

buy an inexpensive hair straightener (the site below has a great one, but you can also get them at CVS and walgreens or somewhere like that). they are incredible tools for layered hair, and with a gentle clamp and a twist of the wrist, they give lovely little flips, as big or small as you want.

Neutural make-up & hair styling tips?!?

Tomorrow is The first varsity football game ever in the history of Western Christian High School, and like all girls I want to look fabulous! So here's my question:

What is the best way to apply natural, Earthy Tones? i.e: blending %26amp; applying etc.

please include blush, lip gloss and/or lip liner, eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow...and what should i do with my hair? It's a little higher than shoulder length and wavy... Neutural make-up %26amp; hair styling tips?!?
blush - flirty pink color, not to noticeable. suck in your cheeks and brush it on your cheek bones.

lip gloss - just use a shine, or a lip gloss with a small hint of color. don't use lip liner.

eyeliner - black or brown. line on top eyelid, and in the corner on the bottom.

mascara - black, use two coats.

eyeshadow - shade your eye lid in, then the outer corner in the same color but darker. i can't say what color because i don't know the color of your eyes.

hair - straighten it, be sure to use a heat protector.

contact me if you need anymore help!Neutural make-up %26amp; hair styling tips?!?
too look natural wear mascara and a little eye liner only on the corner of your eye so its barely noticable, wear some foundation thats the color of your skin no darker because then your arms, neck, chest will look lighter then your face and it will look weird, wear a light pink blusher and some lip liner to pucker your lips and make some Vaseline to make them softer. no eye shadow that is too fake!

well for the hair put a little moose in it or straighten it i don't no what you look like so i cant tell what suits you!

any way good luck, i hope all goes well for you. ducez %26lt;3

Hair styling tips? ( messy hair)?

Okay it seems i can only style my hair down! I have side bangs and lots of layers but i cant seem to think of anything that would look good on me with my hair. Please give me some styling tips. THANK YOUHair styling tips? ( messy hair)?
Maybe you can at least try going to the store then buy some cute headbands, clips and some styling stuff like hair gel. Then try different ways to style your hair if you have no idea what hairstyle to do look at your magazines. Experiment! And if you don't like to use all those stuff I mentioned, you can always go simple with a ponytail or braid. And for the layers go to the salon and tell them to cut a few layers off. And also ask them for tips on styling your hair because I'm all out of tips.

Hope this helps!Hair styling tips? ( messy hair)?
i would like to know more information such as is it straight ? curly? frizzy ? wavy ? ect

surf hair by garnier is the only one ive heard of, and that should work.

in that picture tho it looks like he just straightened his hair and hair sprayed it in different ways.

i know in his other pictures (more recent) like this

he says that he just puts wax/gel in his hair and twists it different directions when its almost dry.

    Fast/ easy hair styling tips?

I ahve hair about 2 inches past my shoulders. Brown, little bit of highlights left. Oval face. Side bangs.

Any fast and easy ways to make my hair different? I cannot use any curling iron/ strainer or any of those. I DO have gels a hair dryerFast/ easy hair styling tips?
You could try to make an illusion that it's wet. Try using any type of gel and scruncting your hair all over in various directions. It'll look somewhat like you just came out the shower.Fast/ easy hair styling tips?
i have naturally wavy curly hair so i just get some leave in conditioner and just put that in my hair then just blow dry the way you want it. But most of the time i straighten my hair.
    hello

i have hair just like yours so i can totally relate.....some times i swoop my bangs out to the side and put my hair up in some cute little style..you might be able to pull of having your hair in low ponytails or maybe a low side pony tail!!! If u want something real simple u can swoop out your bangs and put it half up and half down!!
Whatever you need to do to show your neck....HOT!!
Well if you don't want to cut it, maybe try some styling wax that will make the ends of your hair a little spikey and funky, and show of layers if you have layers.

    Easy hair styling tips?

i really really suck at styling my hair

what are some super easy tips to style my hair for school...

my hair is shoulder length with side bangs

    dark brown

    thanksEasy hair styling tips?
depends on your routine. do you take a shower at night or in the morning? because if you blow-dry your hair in the morning i suggest using ganier fructis leave-in conditioner. just extra protection from the heat. and use a styling gel if you want it to look more like a choppy cut. if you take it at night and need to style it when it's dry in the morning the start out with a flat-iron. just to bring out the shine. then you can gel it. or you can flip it in or out with your iron. if you flip it in then the layers around you face look really cute... uhm. that's all i got. have a good hair day. :)Easy hair styling tips?
    pony tails r kinda cool.

  • Scene hair styling tips?

ok so my hair is dark brown and just past my shoulders i have choppy layers and side bangs. i love the scene hair style but i cant get it to look good does anyone have some good styling tips?!?!?!?Scene hair styling tips?
Since you love scene hair styles, tease the back but make sure to cover it with some hair so others cannot see all the knots and tangles. Add some bows or extensions to spice things up!Scene hair styling tips?
Tease it...most scene girls do this. It is bad for your hair though. Use a body shampoo and put some hairclips/hairbows/headbands in. Just mess it up. Try some of these things and your hair should look adorable.
Tease it and if you don't want to dye it try clip in extensions if you want colour and designs like stripes and leopard print http://laniebeth.etsy.com

Help! Stylist destroyed my hair, need to look professional tomorrow! Hair styling tips needed!?

I got a terrble haircut about 2 weeks ago. The stylist did not listen to my wants at all and chopped it off (I just wanted a trim, she went from past my shoulders to inches above my chin), and also put on really short layer all the way around my head. You can see the top and bottom seperate no matter how I can think to style it. I went straight, looks like a mullet. I go curly, and the bottom does not go with the top at all.

I have a problem because tomorrow is a career fair. I was hoping to find a solution to this by now, because getting it fixed would require chopping my hair above my ears. I have a round face and I have tried this, and it looks awful. Does anyone have any styling suggestions? I need to look professional without looking like I have a mullet. I have naturally wavy red hair if that helps, with bangs cut to fall to one side and layered.Help! Stylist destroyed my hair, need to look professional tomorrow! Hair styling tips needed!?
Have you tried pulling it up or back with barretts, bobby pins or a headband??? I know how awful bad haircuts can be. One thing I do is let my hair be curly and then pull it up in little sections, then twisting the little sections and pinning it with bobby pins. It creates a cool updo that looks good. You just need to arrange the sections %26amp; play with them until they look good. If you try a wide headband you might be able to make it look good or even a scarf tied around your head with the tails trailing down. Just some ideas that I hope are helpful. http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip1140/a> I found this site that may be helpful also. Hang in there, it's just temporary, remember hair grows. Good luck on your interviews!!!Help! Stylist destroyed my hair, need to look professional tomorrow! Hair styling tips needed!?
the quickest way to fix it is to trya cute updo. if you pin the ';bang'; area of your hair up and poof it up a little, this will elongate your rounder face. then take sections of your hair and twist them all the way to the ends. then pin the up with a bobby pin, but let the ends untwist. this will give you a funky, fresh look.
