Hair styling tips please!!?

my hair is about an inch past my shoulders and i just basically need some styles for my hair. i usually put it up in a pony tail or just leave it down and i wanted something more fun =) please help!!Hair styling tips please!!?
- Half up with a clip or hair tie. You can also braid the upper section.

- Side parted hair with the front section clipped to the side. I like to use little jaw clips, but bobby pins will work if your hair isn't too thick.

- Flipped through pony tail. Put your hair in a loose pony tail. Reach up under the pony tail and separate the hair there into two sections. Use your other hand to twist the tail and then pull it through from bottom.

- French ponytail. Put the top section of your hair (above ears) into a ponytail. Next, put the middle into a pony. Then put the bottom into a pony. This looks less kiddy if you do it looser with pretty clips.

- Some more simple styles are side braids/ponytails, buns, and french braids- http://www.wikihow.com/French-Braid

I hope this helps! :)Hair styling tips please!!?
There's all kinds of things you can do! Don't be afraid to experiment a little. I would look in magazines that you like, and at celebrities whose style you admire who have a similar hair length and thickness to yourself. Clip out the pictures, or just keep them in mind or in a folder on your computer... NOW all you need is a little time and patience! A cheap accessories store, like Claire's or Ardene, can be a treasure house of really inexpensive, fun hair tools. Barettes, clips, headbands, scarves, pins... there's a huge list. With a little length like what you have, you can easily do all kinds of updos and fun things. Look on youtube for ideas.. typing ';hairstyles'; into the search engine there can come up with some really cute instructional videos! Don't be afraid to experiment a little. The worse thing? You'll have to brush it out, or rinse out some product, and start over. No big deal! Have fun!
Shoulder-length hair is totally versatile. I love the messy ponytail (I think it's cuter at your length than when it's long). Clip the layers back with a cute kid's clip.
