Am off on my hols today and want to take my hair straightners (yes, I know, high maintenance I'm afraid). But, do I pack them in my hand luggage or in my suitcase that I'm checking in?? HELP! Thanks!!Where do I pack my hair straightners?
You can pack in the hand luggage plus it is safer that way.
I have done it a number of times. I have also done it just last month and never have had any problems when it comes to going through security.Where do I pack my hair straightners?
I would pack them with your luggage, if you try to take them on as carry-ons, then the x ray machine and or the metal detector will be set off, causing you more time in lines.
better put them in the bags to be checked because airport security is really thorough nowadays and you wouldn't want to miss your flight if they stop you!!!!

I would put them in your main luggage, wrapped in a couple of tee shirts to be on the safe side.
You're unlikely to need them on the way, so put them in the bags you're checking in.
