Use of GHD hair straightners in America?

I'm going to New York soon, just wondering can I use my GHD over there?Use of GHD hair straightners in America?
we have GHD 's here but I am sure they have the different plug....bring a converter, unless you are staying at a high dollar hotel that has them...am assuming you are coming from england?Use of GHD hair straightners in America?
Don't know where you are, but if in England you will need to buy an American adaptor for your plug, as they only use two pins. You will probably be able to find one in Boots or Woolworths, if not why not pop into a travel agents and ask them.... have a great time in New York, i went quite a few years ago, but had an amazing time, great place and great people, (but you do get a bit fed up with them saying ';have a nice day'; everywhere you go)..... have fun...

I took mine to Florida %26amp; Barbados, do work but cos its a different voltage or sommat over there didn't seem to get as hot as here, get a converter so can work like here
If they are the older model the MK3 they do work but you need an adaptor and they dont work as well. Whereas, the new GHD's the MK4 work just as well abroad, they dont lose any of their power.
