Yes it is normal that just means that it is heating up. Some straightners take FOREVER to become fully heated, so when you see the flashing don't worry.For Corioliss hair straightners..is it normal for the ligh to turn on and off when using it?
some appliances light up when they are heating up. when your iron starts to cool off, the heating element kicks back in to keep you iron at a certain temperature.. if it's constantly going on and off it may have a short in it.
