it wont ruin the styler as much as it will ruin your hair! the product should be applied AFTER you straighten/curl.Does hairspray wreck hair straightners and curling tongs?
Don't worry about it, as long as you clean it afterwards.
Yes......b/c the irons get so hot that the hairspray is sticky and dries hard and fast. You should only use hairspray after you are done styling. Even if you DO clean it after you're done using it....it is not all going to come off.
