i'm due to fly to new york next week and i'm taking my ghd straightners. Because they cost so much i don't want to put them in my case but to take them in my hand luggage. I was told by somone i work with that they can't go in hand luggage but in the hold, does anyone know if this is true. And if they do have to go in the hold why is this when you can take camera's etc on the plane? Can i take my hair straightners in my hand luggage???
yes, you can take hair straighteners in your hand luggage. Can i take my hair straightners in my hand luggage???
i took mine in my carry on and they didnt say anything. sometimes it depends on the airline that you are traveling with. just to be sure i would visit their website and go over the guidelines. i traveled american airlines from florida to germany and as long as your liquids are in containers smaller than 3oz and in a plastic ziplock baggie they dont care for anything else. good luck.. i would check the site just to be on the safe side.
possibly - but i wouldnt risk it...what if they refuse to allow it...then you will have curly hair ALL holiday...lol!! wrap them in a towel %26amp; stick them in your suitcase!!
of course but with airline regulations the way they are and if you are as attached to your flat iron as I am to mine, play it safe and pack it in your checked luggage.
They will allow it, however, be prepared to have them stop you during the bag check process as the cords will show up on the screen and they sometimes question that and ask to see what is in the bag. I used to travel with curling iron and hair dryer in carry-on until this became a problem. Now I check them.
yep.
yes
You cannot take a hair straightener in your carry on. In you checked luggage wrap it up in towels. It won't break. I just did it a while ago.
Yes it is aloud just if they ask say it is a hair straightner
Yes, you can carry that in your handbag.
yes u can i have them with me everytime am travelin
they are not a weapon and they are not liquid so I'm sure you can take them in your hand luggage. i flew recently and telephoned the air port asked for security department , they were really good and answered all my questions. it was no trouble. so put your mind at rest , telephone and ask away
enjoy your holiday
i'm a hairdresser and i recommend cordless straighteners i don't think they are overly expensive + they are designed to be compact to go travelling with
