Change out of your panties and put on some boxersA boy, wanting to straighten his hair?, with hair straightners?
My boyfriend straightens his hair so i don't think theres anything wrong with it! He uses the new G.H.D fro men straightner! Depending on how long you want to grow your hair, these are brilliant! If not just try a simple G.H.D mk 3 or 4! Also really good!!
advice on what? how to use them? well you just put a small section of hair through them, dont leave them on for too long thou!
Most lads do it nowadays
Well then just grow your hair and buy some straighteners for it as its your hair and up to you on how you want to wear it
Dude just grow out yur hair and buy a straightner.
a monkey could use one, its simple.
you plug it in, push on. and select the heat level.
then put yur hair on it.
but you want to buy some heat sealent so it doesn't ruin yur hair while straightening it.
and for the straightner I reccommend remington.
But not the wet to straight straightner :]
Its ok for guys to use them!
just brush through it first in parts, use a heat defence spray sos not to frazzle your hair, especially with GHD's, (their really good btw) and just strsighten it in sections.
Buy straighteners, straighten your hair, sorry there is not much advice to give!
It is a lot of work and your hair will get fried. Before you go to that extreme. Try HIS Mix shampoo and leave-in conditoiner. It will control frizz and define curls if you apply it to your wet hair and air dry. You can get HIS MIX through afrotherapy.com.
only girls do that!!!
If you dont want to look like a girl, leave your hair as it is....
emm.. try growing it a bit, but not too long.. that would be a bit girly, other wise.. yeah some guys do straighten their hair, go for it!
erm, go ahead theres not really any advice to give.
but you should buy this cream for your hair so the heat from the straightner dousnt damage
Well if your hair is not long enough to straighten then you obviously can't straighten them. So just wait until it's long enough to be straighten. Some advice is to never straighten your hair wet. And make sure you brushed you hair thoroughly so straightening would be easy for you. Remember that straightening your hair with a hair straightener too often can lead to split-ends, dry and weak hair.
jeezuz, why is it okay for girls to use straighteners and not guys? (referring to other answers left)
well, anyway, go ahead and do it. Make sure you get yourself something to protect your hair from the heat, invest in a good quality straightener, and take your time using medium heat, rather than straightening your hair in a minute on the highest heat level. You'll get better results, and won't burn your hair :]
Go to a salon where there is someone who specializes in it. Don't try it yourself--the chemicals are pretty powerful.
Are you sure you want to do this? My hair is very curly and my hairdresser said that hair straighteners (the chemical kind) do the opposite of perms--and when your hair starts growing, your roots will be curly and it looks weird. Just a thought.
well first get your self a good streightner. Then you will want some good type of jel and a hair solution that makes your hair shine and look soft.. This is so that it doesnt look dull and feel dry after you streighen it. You put this stuff in your hair wile it is still damp but not we, and yo also streighten your hair wile it is damp. Split your hair into sections. You dont want to do parts at a time that are to big or to thick, the y won't stay streight as long. So do it in little section and do each section over about three or for times until it is perfectly streight. When you are done use a little bit of hairspray to keep it streihtened.
Depending on how long your growing your hair, may be easier getting smaller thinner straighteners to get into the hair better without burning yourself =) also straighten in sections, the results will be better ;) have fun! hehe
get a Chi straightner..its THE best! use some spray or cream tho first to protect ur hair! guys with straight hair is hott
i dont like it when guys straighten theyre hair.... keep it naturAl
dont listen to the others *rolls eyes* guys have as much right to straighten there hair as women :] x
dont burn your self with the straightener! and when you do straighten your hair use abt 1 inch sections to straighten at a time
Adivce on hair straightners?
Get some good ones, and ALWAYS use heat protection spray!
just do it! its simple but you have to grow your hair.. section it into small sections and straighten..you will get the hang of it.. girls have to learn just the same
1) Buy straighteners 2) Use them
Easy really.
well, as for advice-
i'd suggest purchasing a ceramic straightener. they aren't always ridiculously expensive either- i got my Conair 2'; straightener at Wal鈽匨art for $14. :]
it would be best to use a heat protectant so that the damage that straightening inflicts on your hair is not so bad. got2b crazysleek hot smooth FLAT IRON %26amp; BLOW DRY LOTION is really nice, and it smells really reallyy goood. x] hehe
as for when you're actually straightening your hair, don't slide the straightener down your hair too quickly, because this will damage the ends and give your hair static-y.
but don't go tooo slow, either, because this might burn your hair.
but it really shouldn't be too difficult. you can do it!! good luck!! :]
go to a beauty shop and buy a straigtner that wont burn. and some heat protect that would keep your hair from getting more damaged.
My brother and I were cursed with naturally cury hair from birth. He now has a mohawk and I have shoulder length hair we both use the same method and it works great!!
Here it is:
We use this brush:

While our hair is still wet we put some product in it, I use Straight Shot from Beyond the Zone, about $8 at Sally's Beauty Supply. Then dry our hair in sections with that brush. It's quick and super easy! Then I use a ceramic hair straightner, mine costs about $50, my brother's only cost $20 and his works just as well so you could go to Wal-Mart and grab one, AS LONG AS IT'S CERAMIC!!!
My hair takes me 20-30 mins and it sticks straight so nicely!
Using the brush is the main point, without that brush my hair will be super frizzy until I wash it again!
Those are my secrets so I hope they help!
