Are GHD hair straightners still the best ones to have or are other brand ceramic ones just as good these days?Are GHD hair straightners still the best ones to have?
Honestly no. Last wednesday my GHD's broke after just over a year and considering how expensive they are I don't think this is particularly acceptible. It was my graduation last friday and obviously I wanted to look my best but my GHD's were broken and couldn't afford another pair, particularly in such a short space of time. So I went onto the Argos website and looked at reviews of straighteners and settled on this pair:

I didn't expect them to work at the same standard as my GHD's but I have been pleasantly surprised and if I'm honest I think they keep my hair straighter a lot longer than the GHD's ever did. The Nicky Clarke straighteners also have a rounded barrel, similar to the the GHDs if you wanted to curl your hair and also have a heat control setting. Considering they are about 1/6 the price of GHDs I would definitely recommmend them!Are GHD hair straightners still the best ones to have?

yeah they really are the best i know there quite expensive but ive tried loads of Straighteners and there the only one that give you poker straight hair and there the best for doing curls with as well as they reach such high temps!
GHDs are of course the best, amazing! I have had mine for 3 years now and still working 100%. They make your hair feel silky too. And work to curl hair.
Just depends on how much you want to spend. Chi, GHD and all those other fancy irons are jsut expensive. Just pick one you like
I use FHIs. They are exactly the same as GHDs, about 拢100, but are apparently much better for your hair.

i think its just as good as the chi.

plus the chi is much, MUCH more cheaper
