Why are Ghd Hair Straightners so good?

I am a boy, i have around 3 - 4 inches, and is pretty straight, my mum also wants a straightener and her hair is up to her shoulders, lots of poeple have ghds but what i so good about them because they are very expensive and is there any other cheap but good alternative we could use?Why are Ghd Hair Straightners so good?
They are good because they have temperature control, they straighten hair faster and heat up quicker as well. Also the technology they use to make the iron part is less damaging than cheap ones. Cheap materials or ingredients=cheap products. If she doesn't want to totally destroy her hair she will invest in a good straightener and a good heat protection product. The newer chi's are the second best but if they are under 100 bucks they are the old chi and you shouldn't get the old chi's.Why are Ghd Hair Straightners so good?
I live in Florida and ordered my first GHD a year ago. I LOVE IT SSSSOOOO MUCH! It's super quick to heat up, gets the job done quickly. easy to handle and bring around. They don't sell them in the US but I loved mine so much and let my friends use mine, so now 3 of my friends ordered them online too.
