In my opinion ghds are way better.... i love them the new ones that is the have a really long cord.It beeps when it comes on and it beeps when it is at the right temperstuure for use. My hair type is curly, frizzy and very thick! The ghds are very good and yoo can get all types of special offers when yoo buy them i got a dvd showing yoo how to use and some heat pretecting spray ! but i prefer to use tresseme heat defense spray. I usually just straighten my hair with them which is quite easy but yoo can also wave your hair with them and curl it and add volume! whitch i think is really clever! Also it starightens really easy and quick!
