I would save up some more money and buy ghds I know they are ridiculously expensive but you just can't beat them and they will last a long time.
GHDs are around £100+
You can get them from salons or online.
I have the ones with wide plates which is great for thick, long hair! They work really well on my hair which is thick and really long. They also add amazing shine! But you might need to buy heat protection spray to use with them.
Hayley xWhat hair straightners can get?
my hair is mad thick and wavy my kids brought me the blue vidal sassoon ones from argos £30 they are full ceramic not coated so they last longer and you get a really smooth finish they are not wide plates but if you section hair it takes no time at all they are fab use a good straightening balm also
good luck btw they are a special edition not sure if in new book they are bright blue xxx
SORRY! but i dont live in the UK i live in Australia so i dont really know i only know E-bay but thats a site BUT look out for fake look alikes AND you can gets some style gel, mousse or a special type of hair products to make it and hold it so it stays straight!
BUT if you buy the hair products make sure they are NOT ANIMAL TESTED!
Anyway Hope This Solves you question!
Darn I don't know how much the prices are in the UK, I don't know how to convert money but the best straighter out there, at lest for the hair we have, (You just described my hair as well) is Wet 2 STraight Remington. It works wonders...it keeps he hair straight!!!
Also it only cost me 23 dollars so...if that helps!
I have some amazing Remmington ones, they were £35 and are really thick which is good cos i have long thick hair but i've tried GHD's they are ok but snapped my hair quiet a bit and didn't straighten as well as the remingtons.
I'm not sure if I have the same brand that everyone was talking about, but I know mine is a wet to dry one... and it works really well! Look for a ceramic platted on, not a metal one... they work so much better... and I got mine for under $25-usd.
xo
GHD's are about £120. Which is expensive!
I'd recommend Phillips, or Remington, I've owned both of these and they're great, make sure they're Ceramic coated!
My daughters hair sounds just like yours. We've just bought her the Babyliss total freedom straighteners. They are brilliant. We paid £34.99 in argos but I'm sure I've seen them in Morrisons at £10 less.
remington wet2straight are really good they are wide plates and make ur hair really straight although they work best on dry hair they are really good!
It Depends,,, Coz U Cna Get Them Off E-bay Second Hand,,, Or U Can Have A Look In Argos
