I've previously had a CHI but within one year it stopped turning on. I have thick curly hair and it's overall preformance was mediocre. I just recently purchased the babyliss pro and I would highly recommend it! It has a variety of heat seetings unlike the CHI and heats up extremely fast. I hope that helped!

Anyone who has ever had one said it broke in 7 months or less, most have no temp dial, and they are damaging since the plates are only ceramic COATED, not full ceramic.

Conair flat irons are always reccommended by top selling magazines, and since I also have one, I think it's the best too. If you have super curly or even wavy hair, it straightens it really fast, and it looks natural.
