What are the best hair straightners and curling irons to get?

If you want expensive good once that last try ceramic straighteners like CHI that's a good brand. If you only want to spend 30-40 on it try conair, or hot tools it's better to get straighteners ceramic, the heat distributes evenly and doesn't burn your hair. What are the best hair straightners and curling irons to get?
GHD although I never learnt to curl with them so I use normal ceramic coated curling ironsWhat are the best hair straightners and curling irons to get?
Listen i have the $30 hot tools straightener and I have the $250 straightener. I only used the expensive one twice. I find the less expensive Hot Tools flat iron to be a lot better. That's what I've been using for 5-6 years and I have healthy straight hair.
i brought a GHD bout 4 years ago and it still works. it takes lyk 10 sec ot heat up and it doesnt burn ur hair. You can curl with them as well. they are expensive but last years.
there's alot of good flat irons and curling irons on the market. i use a Chi flat iron. it works really well. its a lil expensive the prices range from about $70-150 but its worth it.

Go to to your local beauty supply store and you should find some good flat iron's there. if you have really curly hair you will need a flat iron (straightener) that can reach up to about 400 degrees. But believe it or not sometimes Wal-mart, Target and other stores like that have really nice Flat irons my mother baught one there for $15.00 and it works better than mine that i baught for $50.00. But if you want to be safe spend the extra money for a good flat iron. Hope this helps.
definatly get GHD's they are amazing! All my hairdressers use them and they curl hair aswell as straightening. Trust em they are good :P
