im thinking of buying remingotn wet2straight hair straightners because i have thick hair, are they good?Is remington wet2straight wide hair straightners good?
NO MATTER WHAT the product says it can or cannot do, do not ever ever put a heated styling tool to wet hair. It will burn first, then become extremely brittle, then start breaking off more and more with each use.
If you are going to use a straightener, I do. I suggest investing in a good one that is ceramic the best out there are the CHI or Babyliss and there are several others. You want to make sure that is is not ceramic coated but 100% ceramic. Make sure the one you purchase has adjustable heat settings. Unless you have small kinky curls you do not need a high setting and they get upwards of 400 degrees. That will burn your hair!
Styling tools are awesome and I could not live without my straightener...(okay I could but I would not want to.) They are damage your hair but you can do a few simple things to minimize it.
1. ALWAYS make sure your hair is 100% dry.
2. ALWAYS use a heat protectant cream or oil you will put on quickly before using the straightener. This will make your hair straighter and less damaged. I use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum which works amazing and smells great.
3. If you are going to use heat products you should get your hair trimmed religiously every 6 weeks.
4. If you use a hair dryer try using a lower heat setting, I use no heat... and try drying the majority of it with a towel first as the dryer causes damage too.
Final tip, when you wash your hair lther rinse repeat and each time only a dime sized amount. Most people use too much shampoo. You will find the second time your hair will lather much better. Then rinsing your hair as warm ar you can stand it, wring it out and apply your conditioner. Small trick: Big difference. Rinse your hair with cold water, I usually get out lean my head in/forward and rinse with cool water under tha faucet or using the shower head. The reason for this is kind of like your pores the hot water opens and the cool water seals in the conditioner, just try and and trust me you will see a huge difference. Is remington wet2straight wide hair straightners good?
in all honesty, anything that will straighten your air while its wet is bad for your hair.
however, i dont think its going to make your hair fall out of your head the first couple times you use it.
i would maybe get it for emergencys but try and use a CERAMIC as much as possible.
plus, i think the wet2 straight is metal, which also frys your hair.
id stick to a ceramic straightner as much as you can.
no they screw your hair up!
i read a review from some girl who had curly hair and she used them once and they screwed up her hair completely by damaging the follicles. her hair is now a wavy frizzy mess and it will never be back to normal again even when the new hair grows through cos of the damage to the follicles.
just use GHDs you cant go wrong
Noooooooo!!!!!! It takes forever and I hate it!
Get the chi straightner! You can curl and straighten
with it. It is a bit pricy, but worth it when you never
have to buy another straighner or curler again!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck and God Bless!
noooo, I really really hate the one I bought
it gets stuck on your hair and you can very easily be burned by the steam that comes out the top of it
it also damages the hell out of your hair
it sucks
help me with my question?
