Im going on Holiday to the Dominican Republic in 3weeks, Can you put HAIR STRAIGHTNERS in your hand luggage?

I doubt if your hair straightners will work in the Dominican Republic.


In the UK and Ireland the voltage of electrical goods are 220 - 240 volts and the electrical outlets in USA and Caribbean are 110 - 120 volts.


Even with a correct plug adapter, from 3 pin to 2 pin, the motor will burn out if you don't use a transformer..


Better off to hire some in the hotel or buy a new one locally.Im going on Holiday to the Dominican Republic in 3weeks, Can you put HAIR STRAIGHTNERS in your hand luggage?
Erm maybe, but you can deffo put them in your suit case.





Ask them before you put your suitcases on the plane.
