How to fix hair straightners?

how do i open hair straightners to replace the power cordHow to fix hair straightners?
screwdriver maybe? jk i dunno...why don't you just buy a new straightener? Sounds complicated. How to fix hair straightners?
Haven't got a instruction manual?
depends on the model .. but if you can't even get 'em open you might wanna get a proper sparky to do it
Dont know but if they r ghd`s this is a common problem so I would recommend sending them to manufacturer!
read the guarantee/warranty and contact customer services.. they're pretty good or else they'll send u a new one (if u kick up a fuss).. LOL
Try a little oil on screws.Goodluck
There should be a number of screws (in deep holes) They will either be Cross head/triangular or star. If they are cross head, use a positive (cross head + ) screw driver and undo them. Open up the casing of the straighteners VERY carefully so that you don't lose any bits. Have a look at the existing power cord and if you think you can replace the cord easily, by all means have a go. If it looks too complex then leave it and buy a new set.

Good luck whatever you decide but do be very careful :-)
Why bother, if they are under a year old then send them back under the warrenty, If older then throw in the bin they are cheap items , just replace them
buy a new pair
throw them out , get some new ones , dont put ur self at any harm what so ever
If it is a model ghb 3 1 b just undo the 2 screws at the hinge section after having removed the rubber band around the detachable plate. These should be tight as it houses a 240volt connector. Dont forget safety first and unplug from the mains( before doing this. My questuon to you is where did you manage to get the cable from?
