I assume you dont' want to use hair straighteners cuz of the heat and/or the time it would take...I like using ceramic plates. It doesn't deplete the natural oils in my hair, so I don't get heat damage, but it does take a long time.
You could get your hair professionally straightened. But, it does damage your hair, as all chemical treatments do. And it's expensive.

My hair is naturally curly but it straightens pretty easily. I just wet it, then use a hair dryer as I brush it straight. Applying some mousse before doing this helps.
There are also hair straighteners that work like curling irons but are flat instead of round.
get it permed staight, it will stay straight for about 3 months
