Hair straightners/hot irons/what ever you'd like to call them?

Do you know of one that works good that is under $100? I have naturally curly/wavy (not spiraly) hair but can get frizzy if brushed and my hair doesn't stay straight for anything. Send me a link or somethin, thanks!Hair straightners/hot irons/what ever you'd like to call them?

I got a Conair flat iron for Wal Mart for between 25$ and $30. Most times it isnt he iron thats the problem, its the products. Start with very clean hair with a little of ';anti- frizz';/ smoothing serum (try John Freida FRIZZ-EASE $8- lasts a long time). Take small sections and go through the hair with the flat iron and make sure the iron gets hot again hot in between sections. Most irons have a dial to adjust the temp.

***If you have coarse or ethnic hair, use a light misting of oil like Lusters Pink Oil spray or any oil sheen as you go through.
A hair straightener that is absolutely amazing and works awesome is called the chi. I believe it is a tiny bit over 100$ but if you search on ebay you can find them for a lot cheaper. They work really good! Hope this helps!
get a revlon ceramic curling iron or flat iron. ceramic is the best . 20-50 at walmart.
Chis are great. The one i use is just a little over $100 and it was SO worth the money! http://www.folica.com/CHI_Pink_Dazzle_d4/a>

i just got this new conair straightner just from CVS that works fine for me an dit was only $30. I'm sure you could find something nicer though that would work better.

good luck!
Mine is a Jilbere de Paris Titanium Tools straightener. My hair is very wavy and thick and gets frizzy very easily. I bought mine at Sally Beauty Supply for like $40 and I got a hairdryer for free because of a special they had. If your hair is thick you need one with high heat...like 400 degrees. Get this stuff called Redken Align 12 ultra straight balm and also Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide. Put 2 squirts of the Align 12 and one of the Heat Glide in your palm, rub together and put all throughout your hair after towel drying. Use a paddle brush and blow dry your hair, then take the iron and straighten it in sections. When finished apply 2 squirts of the Heat Glide to your hair. Use this method and it does wonders! If you saw my hair before doing this and then after, you wouldn't believe it was the same head of hair lol! Good luck!
