will it break my hair straightners if put hairspray/gel in my hair and then straighten over it?Hair Straightners?
No! It won't. It might smell a little weird, but the product you put in your hair is protecting it from getting damaged by the heat. So it's really good if you do put gel or hairspray in before flat ironing it.Hair Straightners?
I think the residue left by the hairspray/gels might leave a sticky layer on your straightener. If you really need to putsomething in your hair, after you wash your hair when it is damp, put it in then. Why not try a leave-in conditioner or detangler? Also, you can apply the gel/spray after straigtening
Hope I helped =)
it won't break it immediately.
but it does damage the straightener if you always put gel or hairspray in first then straighten.
it's because all the excess things stick onto the straightener.
and it piles up.
it doesn't work as good as it did when it was newer.
don't do it.
if you do, clean your straightener with some sort of special spray.
i'm not sure where to buy it, but you can google that.

i have had my straightener about a year now and i put an antifrizz product in it after my shower when its damp and a protective cream. then i straighten it in the morning when its dry and the product has soaked in. that is what my stylist recommended i do. then after i straighten it i put in a shine serum that removes any extra fly aways or frizz that wont go away. but no, if you put the product in when your hair is damp or a couple hours before you straighten, it will not damage your iron.
hope i helped! :D
i do it with my straightener all the time but ur hair will smoke and it smells weird but it wont break the straightener
oh no! not at all, it help your hair from getting split ends and hair damage.
