well i have a revlon and it works great on my hair, and i have had it for 5 1/2 years and it's still going strong!!! good luck
I have Vidal Sassoon (sorry bad spelling) and they are really good only cost around 拢20/30.00 and they work as well as GHD. Can get them from Argos
Only GHD's sorry!!

I'd rather go without until I could afford some more as others that I've tried just seem to tear my hair apart!!!

I think their website has a sale at the mo (or it did have a few weeks ago anyway)

x
I use GHS they are no different from GHDs but a fraction of the price

I'd recommend remington? I had one and it lasted for over a year but to take care of it though if there was anyway you could afford the ghd its well worth it!!

I wouldn't go for tresseme(ok, dat is spelt completely wrong!!) but you should get a decent enough one around 50 or 60 euros!!
Ok depends on what hair type she is, if she is fairly thin on the hair and quite wavy, then the price range should be 拢20.
GHDs every time - the car will have to wait! Either that or tell her to tie her hair back for a month until next pay day!
try conair it works really good, it is what i use
All my sisters have GHD's.... so i don't know what to reccomend...
My Mum bought really cheap ceramic straightners from boots and they were like only 拢10 :0

They are Boot's own brand so they should be fine. And they really work well do... I've used them :D

many hair stainteners to choose from. good luck!!!
if she regularly goes to the same hairstylist, ask them if they can get her ghd straighteners. Usually they can get them with a small discount. Better than no discount at all.
Wait til You have the 拢拢拢 for GHDs.
How about getting in touch with the manufacturers to see if it's possible to get them fixed.
Remington wet to straight, I swear by them and I have curly hair, they are brilliant. You can do your hair from wet, but I find if you let your hair dry and then straighten it with them it gets it poker straight.
As u've said Ghds are expensive but they are good. I use wide plate Remingington ones. I brought them about 2 years ago for 拢25. They are very good I have thick hair that is quite wavy and it does the job for me!
I bought my daughter Nicky Clarke straighteners for Christmas, they make her hair look fantastic, and they are reasonably priced Check the link for product information.
