Mine worked hope for the best. Bring an adapter and bring anti frizz serum just in case.
=)Can u use ghd hair straightners in dominican republic?
I got my hair braided instead, as every time I needed to straighten it, we had a power cut!!!!
it doesn't cost that much %26amp; you have to haggle the prices, they double the price before you knock them downCan u use ghd hair straightners in dominican republic?
no
my answers are pretty much the same as above, your straighteners will work with a USA adaptor plug, but will only get warm, not hot. this is because of the poor power supply there. also, it is so humid, your hair will not stand up to it probably. my advice, pay out get your hair braided (i gave up trying to control it after about 4 days) and then you wont have to worry.
I have just come back from the Dominican (Puerto Plata) and my GHDs wouldnt work, I was devastated! The hotel had a hair dryer in the bathroom that was fine, lucky really because mine wouldnt work very well anyway. Just make sure you take some fancy hair clips/bobbles/hair bands to tie up your hair or some scrunch gel! The humidity does make your hair frizzy anyway. Hope Ive helped.
it depends. when i went there i found that my hotel had a low power supply so some appliances dont get enough power. i could use my hairdryer but only on low setting
Yes - I took mine. You just need the adaptor.
But please bear in mind that it is extremely humid over there and you will look like Brian May on acid at the end of the night anyway.
It may be time to consider other ways to tame your hair before you go!
Yes without no problems, the voltage in the Dominican Hotels is the same as in the Usa. If you coming from Europe that麓s
a other story because here it is 110v 60hz and in Europe it is 220v 50hz, anyway you will need a adapter.
they should do with an adapter.
im off there on 30th (a week yay!) and if my ghd's dunt wrk i duno wt am gna du coz i cnt stand my hair!!!
