but are not as expensive. Daughter has lost hers and I need to replace them but cannot afford 拢100 any ideas would be welcome. Are there any hair straightners that are as good as GHD's?
go for Genie straighteners, they are actually better than ghd and are cheaper. they heat up twice as fast and are twice as hot. its a great kept secret and they are so cheap as no-one knows about them. salon services website will have them, some shops are also gettin them in stock :) they will cost around 50-60 pounds. good luckAre there any hair straightners that are as good as GHD's?
babyliss pro 1.5-inch ceramic hair straightener its about 鈧?0
I bought Andrew Collinge Digital Ceramic Straightners from Boots the other day (they were on sale for a tenner!) %26amp; I'd say they are as good as GHD's. They have 4 heat settings %26amp; the hottest one gets to a really high temp. They don't take long to heat up either.
They normally cost about 拢30 I think.
What would you want to straighten your hair for?
CHI, and there are these italian ones that they sell in mall kiosks that are supposedly better than a CHI and when they tried to sell me one it was on sale for like $80
You could always go on to www.amazon.co.uk (or .com depeneidng on what country you from) you can get a new pair for somethinglike 45 pounds , or second hand pair sometimes 30 pounds , if not go on ebay.co.uk andget some off their , i got a pair of ASDA straigteners and they are brill they make myhair stay straight for weeks , i used them the first time it made my hair stay straight for two and a half weeks REALLY x
and they only cost me 拢9.99 haha i know i like my bargains xxx
I use T3 straighteners-they'e salon ones that normally cost around the same as ghds, but I got mine on ebay for 拢35. I actually think they're better than ghds (which I have used in the past). they have tourmaline in the plates which means they don't dry your hair out as much and they are pretty hot (210 degrees). They straighten my wavy frizzy hair and it stays straight til the next time I wash it. Hope that helps! x
nahhh cant beat ghds =]
vidal sassoon i think thats how it's spelled
i was goin to say saks ones, but fink they r bout 拢90, i hav sum n they r very good
chi's r as good
hope this helps
Yes, another pair of GHD's
Hi in my opinion there aren't any models that compare to the new Ghd's, they turn themselves off after 30 minutes, so no more worrying about accidents, caused by leaving them on.
They heat up in about 5 seconds flat. and seem to adjust the temperature to your hair needs.
The heat they get to means that, you use them for less time, they have world wide voltage, so you can take them anywhere
the company that I brought mine from lastyear, are doing a promotion. www.lookfantastic.com . GHD IV styler for 拢89.00 reduced from 拢98.00

hope this helps
Try: http://www.ghsdirect.com/index.html
They're really good straighteners. However, your daughter may have had the bigger style before so it's probably best to get the same if she had that before.
Try Boots or Superdrug. They sell a lot of straighteners at good prices (remember it's the temperature you want. Anything that goes 210 degrees C or above is good.)
Also, have you tried calling GHD and explaining the problem? A lot of my friends have broken their straighteners and had them replaced. I'm not sure what the policy on loss of the item is but it's worth a go.
If you're going to buy a new pair then you're going to have to look at spending around 拢50. Or you could get a cheap pair until you can afford to replace the GHDs again.
Good luck looking and hopefully GHD might replace them for you (;
I used to have some tres emme straighteners, which were almost as good as my GHDs!
welll i would say chi is on the same level but its also about 100and soemthing, thats the one i use, chi and ghd really are the besttttt.
ifu really cant afford it try fhi, o and babyliss is also very good!
revlon
One thing that is even better than GHD is SRP. It is well worth a try.
Hair tools are a budget alternative. Whatever you chose, make sure they heat up to 230 degrees.
Try the Bayliss Pro 230. There really good and are about 拢60. They go up to 230 degrees, hence the name. It gives you a poker straight effect and you can also curl your hair with them like ghds!
i like babyliss pro 230 the heat can be up to 230c so they are really good

chi is really good but coul be expensive you can usually find a lower priced one of sale though.
to be honest I've had many pairs of hair straighteners and none of them compare to GHD's, but I suppose it depends on hair type
Mines quite thick so they cheaper ones really don't do anything for me
Have you tried Ebay?
You can get them for about 拢70
my wife says no
