Nicky Clarke do a model for short hair. BUT they don't work as well as the regular types, the paddles are too short and thin - they suck.
I would get a good quality, normal pair to get your hair properly straight.
GHD! They really are worth it because they heat up so fast and come in a nice carry-case.
Edit: I am shocked at the RED-NECK views coming out because you want to straighten your hair. Loads of men in the UK straighten hair. They're just jealous 'cos we look better, not some greased up oil slick! ';Use a comb'; - LOL!Hair Straightners For Men?
Sugar The best One is Called ';Just for me'; its orginally for girls, but it works wonder on men.It cost around $ 7.90 in any Walmart,Kmart,CVS,Rita Aide,Duane Reade
Sugar When you have naturally curly hair you basically have two options. You can accept it ';as is'; or you can straighten it with a few different options.
Sugar if you decide to straighten it you can do it chemically or you can do it with products that promise to temporarily tame the curls on a day by day basis.
If you decide to straighten your hair, both the chemical and day to day versions have positive and minus considerations. The purpose of this article is not to discuss the pros and cons of chemical versus non chemical straightening.
The goal of this article is to present as much information as possible on the chemical straightening process. This article is neither for nor against straightening. It only presents the facts.
The most common reason that people decide to have their hair straightened is to eliminate curls. Sometimes this process will be used also to soften or eliminate wavy hair. Chemical hair straightening, also known as relaxing, involves a process where the basic structure of overly curly or wavy hair is changed into a straight form.
Both relaxing and permanent waving utilize fairly strong chemicals that are applied directly to the to the hair shaft. However, their objectives are reversed. While a perm is designed to add curls or waves, a relaxing treatment is designed to remove them.
Best of luck Sugar!!
phew... rude answers.
Anyway.. are you interested in chemical straighteners or flat irons that you plug in and just straighten the hair temporary?
If you are looking for a chemical straightener.. you can get a ';relaxer'; at wal mart or cvs. They are like 9 or 12 dollars and they will calm your hair and just loosen any curl or wave your hair has. They usually last 6-12 weeks and you can wash your hair and do everything you usually do.. it will just have less curl. **note that if you go the chemical route the best straighteners are done at a salon but for a male you will get good results with the at home product, just read the directions well.
Now if you are looking for a flat iron that you do ever day or ever other day, you can get one for 15 dollars at wal mart or cvs or walgreens. Just go and look. In my opinion, get something that is ';thin'; the really fat ones only work well on long hair that isn't as curly. Also, price doesn't determine quality. I have a flat iron that is a 100 dollar one, and a 15 dollar one that I keep at my boyfriends. It works JUST AS WELL as my expensive one. The cheap one is black, was bought at wal mart. It is thin, has bronze looking, ceramic slates that go over your hair, and on the hinge has a gold colored C. If you can find it, it's great but you will be happy with a generic cheap one at wal mart.
Good luck.
what is with the answers there aren't straighteners for men who said that they are for women to start with does it say on the box for women?
to answer your question i think the slim ghds are best and tbh you get what you pay for!! cheap = cheap results!! u get the drift.
do i would save a bit of money until you can afford a pair
=D
Buy some for short hair - womens or mens.
Unfortunately though... straighteners are one of those things that you should NOT buy the cheaper versions of - they simply do not do a good enough job and can damage your hair...
I presume the fact that you want to straighten your hair means that you don't want it to fall out or have massive burns around your face.

ryle_style HAHAHA ';thats gay buddy'; LOL anyways there aren't any specific hair straighteners for guys and I would say stay away unless you have unbelievably curly hair. If that's the case just use a womens one I guess. good luck...

There aren't any straightners just for men but you can straihten your hair with any slim ceramic straightners, i'd go for something like remington or babyliss, there inexpensive but great quality and permorm well.
Well if your hair isnt too long just go for thin hair straighteners have a look in the argos catalogue there are plenty of good ones on sale
You can have some of mine if you want i have 3 lmao x
straightners aren't just for girls
u could use GHD's if u want your hair dead straight like emo

Men don't need to have different hair straighteners than women...they're for the same thing!
I use Nicky Clark's on my hair...around about 拢40 at Argos I think. They're fab! Good luck
most are quite good as long as they heat a min of 200 degrees, argos sell some for 拢7,99 and they heat to 220 and theyre really good..i love a man that straightens his hair...yum
GHD do very small straighteners, with a thin set of plates they would be best for men with short hair
I don't think they make them specifically for men. You can use womens ones
Um... men don't use hair straighteners... no offense... Um... use a come maybe.... there is no hair straightner for men. It's only for women!!!
