my hair is average. its not really thick, but really really wavy. and flicks out everywhere. at the moment i have babyliss pro 230 but they kinda suck. it just stops my hair from flicking out, frames my face, and i cant get it any straighter. and i dont really want it to. i want poker straight hair, and no matter how long i take to do it, i cant get it with these straightners. would you recommend ghds? also, how hot do they get? and would they achieve the look i desire?Hair+straightners, help please :(?
Ghds, are quite pricey, but if your okay with that then yeah get them,
but in my experiance Remington hair straightners are really good, i have tried loads of brands, but i always go back to Remington straightners :)
xoHair+straightners, help please :(?
If you have the money to spend, I'd really recommend getting a Sedu. They're amazing. If you want something cheaper, the Andis Silver Tourmaline Ceramic 2'; Flat Iron is really good too. They have it at Target.
I'd also make sure you're using a good heat protection product before you straighten your hair. Tresseme Heat Defense Styling Spray is a really good one.
you need a good straightener but also a good thermal protector spray to help protect you hair while you straighten it, with out it you can cause quite a bit of damage.
Haii,
I would recommend GHD's as they really do straighten your hair well, and once you have it straight, it will stay straight too, try using a straightening shampoo and blow drying it straight. + I think the GHD's go up to about 230 degrees.
xx
You should use a straightener with high heat to achieve the style you want for your type of hair. I recommend you use 'Braun satin ions' straightener as it has an adjustable temp. with high heat, stops your hair from flicking out, and makes it feel soft and like it says ';satin';. I am using this for my really curly hair and I get poker straight hair in just an hour ( I have really long hair!! )
