HAIR STRAIGHTNERS? IS THIS REALLY TRUE?

okay. a few of my friends got hair straightners from the local mall. and they said it doesn't damage your hair it just makes it more silky. i wasn't for sure if it's true but it seems like it is because my friend who got one doesn't have breakage or any more damage from her straightner. so if you know that there is actually straightners like this. can somebody please tell me the name of them. and maybe a link to a website would help too? thankyou. also if you know any good products to prevent the damage? please help.HAIR STRAIGHTNERS? if you use it everyday or a lot, it WILL damage your hair.


think about it.....you are burning your hair, and frying it.


of course it will damage it!


just condition it A LOT and hopefully that will help.


and use a heat protecter spray on your hair before you straighten it.

but overall if u use a heat protectent spray and use the kind with ceremic plates NOT metal your hair shouldnt damange
I use a chi,but the conair infinity ones are supposed to be good.
Straighteners do make you hair shinny and silky they only damage your hair if they are too hot or it you use them like 5 times a day! they are great! :)
any revlon or conair irons work really great, and they prevent damage to the hair!! :)
GHD's are good but they do damage your hair unless you use a spray
