One of the popular straighteners today is the CHI which can be pretty pricey, The original reaches about 100 dollars. I got mine off overstock 20 dollars off, and I love it. It makes my hair very silky and straight.

Though if you're on a tight budget.. I previously owned a Remington Wet-2-Straight and it worked perfectly fine for me, and lasted a few years. It's adjustable settings are good. It last a while on your hair when you use high settings depending on your hair type. (Also I never used it when my hair's wet, It's damaging.. and it works fine without wetness)

I also suggest a heat protector spray, and leave-in conditioner. Especially if you use it a lot.

it really depends on how frizzy/curly your hair is.

if its wavy/straight you don't need one that heats up too high.

if its frizzy/curly/hard to manage,

you need one that heats up more.

and don't get a wet to dry one!

those are bad for your hair,

especially if you straighten your hair when its wet.

also,

don't straighten your hair everyday!

it's badd for your hair %26amp;

it need a break sometimes!

also, i recommend getting a heat protecting sprayy

haha have fun %26amp; good luck with your straightenerrr!

:D
conair infiniti striaghter. :) works really good, i totally recommend it!

also you might wanna get some heat protection too.

i recommend biosilk or tresemme, or any leave -in conditioners.
I got a Chi at Target when I was visiting in the states.
I dunno about target but I just bought this hair straightener at walmart and it was compared to chi...It works well!
