What is the best brand of hair straightners?

My hair is really thick and kind of wavy , so i want to be able to straighten it, but my hair dresser says that it was damage my hair. What is the best brand to use that is affordable and how can I avoid damaging my hiar? What is the best brand of hair straightners?
Well...don't spend too much money on a straightener.

I have several friends who spent at least 100 dollars on theirs and it works just as good as mine

I spent about 26 dollars on mine. And it's by CONAIR

And YES it will damage your hair.

If you want to really decrease the damage though...just buy a product that's specifically made for straightening your hair. Get a good serum...about 6-10 bucks a bottle. But, you'll be grateful that you did. Cuz you don't want to do like i did. I've straightened my hair for about a year and never put nething on it before i straightened it. And now...it's really dry and frizzy. So make sure you spend the little bit of extra money and buy a protectant.

Good luckWhat is the best brand of hair straightners?

Remington Wet2Dry is what I use and it's great! It only costs about $25-$30 and it's ceramic which means it's healthy for the hair-all types!
Definitely CHi, or Remington Wet2Dry. Both are awesome, and both have their pros and cons:

PROS

CHi: skinny, comes with deffirent plates, gets really hot, stratightens quickly

Rem.: Comes in skinny and fat, skinny comes with different plates, adjustable heat, can be used with wet hair.

CONS

Chi: Gets really hot, and burns really bad. More expensive.

Rem.: Can get burned by steam by the steam outlets, if you are not being careful.

hope this helps! =]
