I don't know your style. Are you hip hop or punk rock...? Puff it out with a bit of mousse and a blowdrier. If you're more into classy, I'd recommend you buy ceramic curlers and make those beautiful brown locks shine with Aveda hair shine.
And if you're more scene, I'd say to make the puffy messy look, then cover it up with the curls you can make with a straightener:]
You could put it in velcro curlers for volume and that would look really dramatic, or tie it back in a messy bun using bobby pins. You couls also take a section of your hair in the very front and back comb it, then pin it back. I think pig-tails are adorable and a high pony tail is always a classic. Good luck. You're lucky you have long hair. :(
get layers and divide them through the right or left, whichever is comfortable...but NOT from the middle! and dye them black. it'll look cute =]
